Galderma reports three-year efficacy data for Nemluvio

Galderma has released three-year data from the ARCADIA long-term extension study regarding its medication Nemluvio (nemolizumab) for the treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. The data, which will be presented at the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Congress in Vienna, indicates that the drug remained well-tolerated through 152 weeks.

Key findings from the study include: - Up to 75 percent of patients achieved at least a 90 percent improvement in eczema severity. - Up to 67 percent of participants achieved clear or almost clear skin. - Up to 88 percent reported clinically significant relief from itching. - Up to 92 percent reported relevant improvements in quality of life.

Nemluvio is a monoclonal antibody that targets the interleukin-31 (IL-31) receptor α to block neuroimmune signaling involved in inflammation and itching. The medication is approved in more than 40 countries for atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis. In the United States, it is approved for adults with prurigo nodularis and for patients aged 12 and older with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.
