The Pitt dominates the 2026 Astra TV Awards with seven wins

The Hollywood Creative Alliance presented the sixth annual Astra TV Awards in Los Angeles, honoring excellence in television for 2026. HBO’s medical drama ‘The Pitt’ was the night’s biggest winner, securing seven trophies, including Best Drama Series and Actor in a Drama Series for Noah Wyle.

Netflix’s ‘Beef’ followed with five awards, notably winning Best Limited Series and Actor in a Limited Series for Oscar Isaac. HBO Max’s comedy ‘Hacks’ earned four awards, including Best Comedy Series and Actress in a Comedy Series for Jean Smart. Apple TV’s ‘Shrinking’ also took home four honors, including Actor in a Comedy Series for Jason Segel and supporting awards for Harrison Ford and Michael J. Fox.

The ceremony, hosted by Lisa Ann Walter, also recognized several industry veterans with special achievement awards, including William H. Macy, Cedric the Entertainer, and Troy Kotsur. In the nonfiction categories, ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ won for talk or variety series, while ‘The Muppet Show’ took the stand-up or variety special award.
