Galeria EL hosts Hortus Deliciarum exhibition in Elbląg

The Galeria EL art center in Elbląg is hosting a new exhibition titled ‘Hortus Deliciarum’, scheduled to run until November 29, 2026. The project, created by Agata Konarska, Agata Lankamer, and Adam Martyniak, explores the intersection of medieval inspirations and contemporary technology.

Drawing from the medieval manuscript ‘Hortus deliciarum’ and Hieronymus Bosch’s ‘The Garden of Earthly Delights’, the artists translate the concept of a garden of delights into a digital landscape. The works address themes such as artificial intelligence, deepfakes, digital consumption, and mechanisms of control. While Konarska and Lankamer focus on myths and technology, Martyniak utilizes kinetic installations and waste materials to create forms resembling quasi-organisms.
