Global art and design exhibitions scheduled for 2026
Various cultural and design events are scheduled for 2026 across France and Canada. In Paris, the Galerie Andrée Putman will open to the general public for the first time during Paris Design Week in September, showcasing iconic furniture and launching a new award for young creators. Additionally, Maison&Objet Paris will host its September edition under the theme ‘Pulse in Motion,’ focusing on sensory and collective creativity.
Marseille will host the 20th edition of the Art-o-rama art fair at Friche la Belle de Mai, featuring 39 galleries from 18 countries. The Friche will also host the ‘Unworlding’ collective exhibition and a showcase of graduates from the École des Beaux-Arts de Marseille. The MADMAX gallery is also set to launch in Marseille’s Réformés district.
Other notable events include the Biennale de Florence in Italy, the ‘Trames de Soie’ silk screen printing exhibition, and the Festival LatinArte in Canada, which features exhibitions exploring Latin American identity and territory. In Perpignan, the Visa pour l’Image festival will include a bicentennial exhibition by Le Figaro celebrating 200 years of photography and journalism.
