Galia Green Power secures major biomethane project financing in Poland

Galia Green Power has secured a major financing agreement to support the development of biogas and biomethane projects in Poland. The financing was provided by a consortium consisting of PKO Bank Polski, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK), and mBank.

This transaction is noted as one of the largest financing deals for biogas and biomethane projects in Poland in recent years. The funds are intended for the acquisition of existing biogas plants and various development investments, including the expansion of current installations and the implementation of new biomethane projects.

The agreement is set for an 18-year term, with the first tranche scheduled for launch in the current quarter. The financing model is designed to allow for the flexible inclusion of future projects that meet specific environmental and technological criteria. There is also the potential to increase the available financing pool by PLN 225 million to support further investments.
