Galicia and Salamanca host major summer concerts

Galician musician Carlos Núñez will perform on 23 July at Pazo Baión in Baión, part of his “Lugares Máxicos” tour that highlights historic sites across Galicia. The open‑air concert celebrates the 30th anniversary of his album *A Irmandade das Estrelas* and will feature a mix of new material and classic Celtic pieces, accompanied by musicians who played on the original record and younger performers.

In Salamanca, the Plaza Mayor will host a series of concerts from 7 to 15 September as part of the city’s Ferias y Fiestas honoring the Virgen de la Vega. The lineup includes Mexican pop star Julieta Venegas, Cuban group Gente de Zona, former Spandau Ballet vocalist Tony Hadley, and Spanish rock band M‑Clan, among other regional acts. The program offers daily performances across the plaza, highlighting both international and local talent.

Both events are promoted as key highlights of the summer cultural calendar in their respective regions, drawing audiences to historic venues and public squares.
