Galicia football clubs Arenteiro withdraw from Copa Federación, Bergantiños defeat Montañeros in Copa RFEF

CD Arenteiro announced that it will not take part in the Copa Federación match scheduled for Sunday, 2 August, against Ourense CF. The club cited the recent assembly of its squad, limited preparation time, and the need to protect players’ physical condition and avoid injuries.

In a separate regional competition, Bergantiños FC played a Copa RFEF fixture against Atlético Coruña Montañeros. Bergantiños secured a narrow victory, with goals from newcomers Edeh, Ale Sánchez and Ankudinov, and notable performances by Iago Novo and other debutants. The win advanced Bergantiños to the next round of the tournament.
