Galicia launches new theatre productions Neura and Ñiki Ñaque

The theatre company De Ste Xeito Producións will present its comedy "Neura, unha comedia neurótico-festiva" on 18 July at the Centro Cultural A Cela in Baredo (Baiona). The free performance, directed and written by Manuel Pombal, stars Sergio Macías as Edu and Stephy Llaryora as Sonia and explores mental‑health themes with a humorous tone.

In Valdoviño, the street‑theatre show "Ñiki Ñaque" will open on 14 July near the Frouxeira park. Co‑produced by the Centro Dramático Galego and Espectáculos Valente and directed by Roberto Vázquez, the piece follows two itinerant comedians, Cosme and Damián, as they rehearse a quirky version of "Romeo and Xulieta" while confronting their precarious lives. The performance blends clown, mask and acrobatics.

Both events are part of a series of cultural offerings supported by local authorities in Galicia, aiming to bring theatre to public spaces and attract audiences across the region.
