Galicia launches summer basketball and football camps for children

The municipality of Cervo welcomed the DROCER Basketball Campus this week at the Pavillón da Veiga, offering a training program for children born between 2015 and 2018. Mayor Dolores García Caraméns visited the site, praising the initiative for promoting effort, teamwork and healthy habits among the participants.

From 20 to 24 July 2026, the municipal field of As Baloutas will host RC Celta's "As Celtas" football campus, aimed at girls aged 7 to 16, with daily training, goalkeeper sessions, equipment, snacks and a closing ceremony. A parallel goalkeeper camp led by Sergio Álvarez will also run for boys and girls aged 8 to 16. Both camps are part of the club's effort to develop grassroots women's football in the region.
