Galicia professionals expect salary increases amid rising costs

According to the Galicia Salary Guide 2026 by Isprox, 69% of qualified professionals in Galicia expect a salary increase this year. The majority of these workers, representing 55%, anticipate an increment between 1% and 10%, while 13% expect a rise exceeding 10%.

Rising living costs are cited as the primary driver for these expectations, with one-third of respondents noting increased daily expenses. Other factors include increased responsibilities and professional seniority. The report highlights a competitive labor market where Galicia ranked sixth in Spain for open vacancies last year, forcing companies to balance salary demands with needs for flexibility and work-life balance to retain talent.
