The municipality of O Carballiño, located in the province of Ourense, has launched a public tender to revitalize its municipal camping facilities. The project aims to manage both the Camping Municipal do Arenteiro and the Pallozas do Arenteiro under a single concession.
The Pallozas do Arenteiro consist of six circular, single-story dwellings with conical roofs, designed in the Castrexo style. These accommodations blend ancestral aesthetics with modern amenities, including air conditioning, electric kitchens, and laundry facilities. The site is integrated into the landscape of the Parque Etnográfico do Arenteiro.
In addition to the pallozas, the municipal camping site includes 21 plots for tents, caravans, or motorhomes, equipped with barbecue areas, gardens, and vehicle access control.
