Galician artists host charity exhibition in Vigo and upcycling fair in Ribadavia

In Vigo, the fifth edition of the collective solidarity exhibition ‘Un viaje solidario y creativo hacia la vida’ is opening at the Afundación headquarters. The event features over 40 Galician artists, including painters, photographers, and sculptors, aiming to raise funds for the Tierra de Hombres Foundation. All proceeds from the sale of works, priced at a fixed 150 euros, will support the ‘Viaje hacia la Vida’ humanitarian program, which facilitates medical transfers for vulnerable children.

Meanwhile, in Ribadavia, the Feira ReVive event is promoting upcycling through art. The fair showcases entrepreneurs and artisans who transform waste materials, such as coffee capsules and old clothing, into unique creative pieces. The initiative focuses on the ecological value of repurposing discarded objects to foster environmental awareness and creativity.
