Galician canoeing clubs secure victories in regional regattas

Regional canoeing competitions have taken place across Galicia, featuring significant participation in provincial leagues.

In Pontecesures, the Club Náutico Pontecesures secured a dominant victory during the sixth test of the Pontevedra Provincial League held on the Ulla River. The event drew nearly five hundred competitors and a large audience. The podium was completed by Club As Torres-Romería Vikinga in second place and Club Cofradía de Pescadores Portonovo in third.

In A Rúa, the San Martiño reservoir hosted the fifth regatta of the Ourense League. Piragüismo Ourense achieved absolute dominance in the general club classification, securing ten individual victories. Fluvial Avión-Castrelo de Miño finished second, followed by Club Náutico Ribeiro in third. The event, organized by Club Fluvial O Barco and the Galician Canoeing Federation, included various race distances for different age categories.
