Galician Municipal Summer Camps Launch for Children in Caión and Ons Island

The municipal council of Caión organized its first summer camp session for about 50 children aged 10 to 12, offering beach games, design workshops, magic, surfing and excursions to local attractions. The camp concluded with a foam party and a visit from the mayor and councilors.

The council of A Estrada announced a second summer camp, Campamento do Mar, to take place on the island of Ons from 21 to 28 August. The program targets youths aged 8 to 16, provides 52 places, and combines nature, leisure and teamwork activities. Registration runs 13–24 July, with reduced fees for local families, large families and vulnerable households, while non‑resident families pay the full price. An information meeting for parents is scheduled for 12 August.
