Galician municipalities announce August cultural and community programming

Municipalities in Galicia have announced upcoming cultural and community activities for August.

In Cedeira, the latest municipal bulletin highlights the upcoming Festas da Patroa, beginning August 11, alongside various summer events including the Festa do Porco, the Buxainas Festival, and a special painting contest for the Cervo parish. The council is also reporting on investments in active tourism, such as a new climbing school and Senda Park, and plans for a future Municipal Rowing Center in the port area.

Cerdedo Cotobade has scheduled 11 days of activities including concerts, sports exhibitions, gastronomy events like Burger Fest, and solar eclipse observations at the Cotobade Observatory. Mayor Jorge Cubela stated that the programming aims to use culture as a tool for social cohesion and territorial promotion.
