Galician municipalities implement public infrastructure upgrades

Municipalities in Galicia are implementing various infrastructure improvements to enhance public services and local connectivity.

In Mos, authorities inaugurated the renovated A Pesqueira multi-leisure park. The expansion increases the area to over 8,000 square meters, adding 5,000 square meters of new space. The project includes a 1,022-square-meter skate park, a 450-square-meter climbing wall, an expanded children's area with inclusive equipment, a water park with new slides, and new rest areas. The works also involved terrain regularization, improved accessibility via ramps and paths, and updated sanitation and lighting systems.

In Oímbra, the local government completed the full renovation of Rúa Ladairo in the O Rosal nucleus. This 35,000-euro project, funded by the Xunta, addressed road deterioration on a key route connecting to Verín and Oímbra. Additionally, the municipality is proceeding with a project to install a roof over the municipal padel court, also supported by Xunta funding, to improve sports facilities for residents and visitors.
