Galician musicians Cataventus and Eladio Santos announce upcoming performances

Musical performances are scheduled for Sunday, August 16, in Galicia. The brass band Cataventus will perform at the Praza do Concello in Salceda, marking their first concert in 20 years. The group, which features original members and professional musicians including Chicago Symphony Orchestra trumpeter Esteban Batallán Cons, will reinterpret hits from the 1980s and 1990s.

In another musical event, Eladio Santos, vocalist of the pop-indie group Eladio y Los Seres Queridos, is set to perform at the Castrelos auditorium. Santos reflected on his three-decade career, noting his early beginnings with the bagpipes and the band's evolution from a small duo to a full ensemble that was among the first pop-indie groups to achieve national recognition with songs in the Galician language.
