Galician PP leaders denounce PSOE handling of Lugo and Vigo public projects

In Lugo, Ramón Carballo, the local president of the People's Party, criticised the regional PSOE for prioritising defence of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez over the interests of the city after the national government confirmed Zaragoza as the site for the State Public Health Agency. Carballo blamed the Spanish central government for the decision and said the local PSOE had failed to challenge it, instead targeting mayor Elena Candia.

In Vigo, Luisa Sánchez, the city's People's Party president, warned that the redevelopment of Rua do Pazo in the Bouzas district will be delayed by more than a year due to administrative paralysis by the municipal government led by mayor Abel Caballero. Sánchez said the delay could cause the loss of €350,000 in Next Generation EU funding and condemned the mayor’s focus on unrelated matters while the project remains unfinished.
