Galicia's 1,370‑km Coastal Path Signage Set to Finish This Week
Regional Minister of Environment and Climate Change Ángeles Vázquez announced that the signage for the 52‑stage Camino del Litoral, a 1,370‑kilometre coastal route across Galicia, will be fully completed within the week. So far 79 QR‑coded informational panels have been installed, along with 249 small signs, 25 directional signs and five special safety markers, all funded with a budget of about €200,000.
When the work is finished, the trail will be ready for pedestrians and cyclists from Ribadeo to A Guarda, linking existing coastal paths and incorporating river variants on the Miño and Ulla. The project aims to showcase Galicia’s heritage and landscape while promoting sustainable, year‑round tourism.
