Mexican TV host Galilea Montijo disclosed that a complication affecting a facial nerve occurred during a recent cosmetic procedure, causing visible changes around her eyes and lips. She clarified that the condition is medical, not the result of any supernatural influence, and announced plans to discuss the details with her doctor in an upcoming podcast.

Cuban astrologer Mhoni Vidente, on her program, claimed Montijo was experiencing a strong negative energy or "brujería" linked to the facial changes, stating, "Yo sí creo que Galilea, si no se quita esa brujería… la puede acabar." Montijo also revealed a severe gastritis episode that sent her to the hospital, describing the pain as intense enough to make her think she was having a heart attack.

The host emphasized that the facial issue stems from a nerve being touched during the procedure, not a cosmetic flaw, and that she is receiving treatment for the condition.
