Galileu Leilões hosts high‑grade Nelore genetics auction at Expoacre in Acre

During the seventh night of Expoacre, Galileu Leilões organized the 15th edition of its genetics auction, showcasing elite Nelore cattle from Acre. The event featured about 20 lots of top‑quality females and males, drawing producers, breeders and investors seeking to improve herd performance.

Organizers highlighted the auction’s role in strengthening Acre’s cattle industry. Marcelo Lemos said running their own auction “gives a different kind of excitement,” while Marcelo Cordeiro called the animals “the elite of the elite,” comparable to stock in major Brazilian cattle centers such as Uberaba and São Paulo. The goal is to provide high‑quality genetics to local farms, enhancing productivity and the state’s reputation for superior beef cattle.
