Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria hosts photography exhibition and art tours

The Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria in Perugia is hosting a significant photography exhibition featuring 55 works by prominent photographers, including Giacomelli, Spina, and Roiter. The exhibition, which runs until November 1, 2026, is free to the public. As part of this initiative, the Gallery has acquired 106 works for its permanent collection.

In addition to the photography showcase, cultural activities in Perugia include guided tours of the city’s artistic treasures. These tours feature Vincent van Gogh’s ‘L’Arlesienne’ at the Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria, alongside works by Italian artists such as Giovanni Boldini and Silvestro Lega. Other scheduled visits include the Oratorio di Sant’Agostino, which offers rare access to ongoing restoration sites, and a walking tour of the female cloistered monasteries in the Porta Sant’Angelo district.
