Gallerie d'Italia reports record 434,000 visitors in first half of 2026

The Gallerie d'Italia museum circuit, promoted by Intesa Sanpaolo, reported a record-breaking first half of 2026. The four museum locations in Milan, Turin, Vicenza, and Naples welcomed a total of 434,000 visitors, marking a 4% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

Looking ahead, the museum network has announced a robust schedule including seven exhibitions across its main locations and an additional show in Arezzo. In Turin, upcoming programming will focus on European landscapes and contemporary photography, featuring artists such as Luca Campigotto and Anastasia Samoylova.

In a separate cultural highlight, the Castello di Barletta has seen significant success with its ‘Warhol Vs Banksy’ exhibition. The show attracted over 3,000 visitors in its first month, presenting a comparison between the works of Andy Warhol and the anonymous artist Banksy through more than one hundred pieces from international private collections and galleries.
