Galletas Gullón to invest 196.3 million euros in Palencia

The Government of Castilla y León has declared Galletas Gullón’s investment plan in Palencia a Priority Industrial Project for the 2026-2030 period. The company will invest 196.3 million euros, a move expected to create 140 direct jobs and stimulate the regional business fabric.

The investment consists of two main components. First, the company will construct an advanced, fully automated logistics platform in Aguilar de Campoo. This facility will include a 38-meter-high high-performance silo and a capacity for 37,400 pallets, aimed at optimizing logistics costs and supporting international growth.

Second, a new production center will be built in Villamuriel de Cerrato, specializing in homogenized foods and dietary products, including gluten-free and lactose-free ranges. This center will utilize digital manufacturing systems, integral batch traceability, and allergen controls to improve efficiency and meet evolving consumer demands.
