Gallura road project advances with new environmental assessment

The project to construct a new fast-flow road connecting Olbia, Arzachena, Palau, and Santa Teresa has reached a new administrative stage. The Sardinia Region has published a new notice regarding the Environmental Impact Assessment procedure for the first section of the future SS 125/133bis.

This phase follows the submission of supplementary documentation by ANAS S.p.A. The project aims to improve connectivity in the Gallura region, enhancing safety and traffic fluidity. Currently, the existing winding roads face significant congestion, particularly during the summer months when traffic volume increases substantially.

Citizens, associations, and interested entities are invited to review the updated project documentation on the regional environmental assessment portal and submit observations within the legally defined timeframe.
