Galpón de Ropa expands circular fashion model into shopping malls

Galpón de Ropa, an Argentine circular fashion brand, has expanded its presence by opening its first retail and collection point within a shopping mall at Dot Baires Shopping. The company operates ten points of sale in Buenos Aires and an e-commerce platform, circulating approximately 40,000 garments per month.

The brand utilizes a model where customers provide used clothing, footwear, and accessories, which are then selected by specialists and sold without intensive washing or repair to minimize resource consumption. Since 2017, the company claims to have avoided the emission of 41,808 tons of CO2 and the use of 10,970 million liters of water.

Galpón de Ropa plans to open at least four more locations by the end of the year and is developing a regional expansion strategy targeting Uruguay and Chile. This growth aligns with global trends where the second-hand market is projected to reach 23% of the global fashion market by 2030.
