Galvão Bueno's N Sports and Brazil's SBT discuss expanded sports broadcast partnership
The 2022 World Cup tightened the relationship between Galvão Bueno's N Sports channel and the Brazilian broadcaster SBT. Both parties are exploring an expanded partnership that would let them share investment costs and jointly secure future sports‑rights deals, notably for the Copa do Brasil and other upcoming events.
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) will open negotiations for next year's rights, and SBT has been mentioned as a possible holder of at least one match per round. The collaboration is seen as a strategic response to rising rights fees.
Additional operational updates include SBT rolling out a new microphone canopy on 3 August and BandSports preparing to relocate its headquarters, but the core story remains the potential N Sports–SBT partnership.
