Cork wins 31st All-Ireland senior camogie title

Cork secured their 31st All-Ireland senior camogie title by defeating Galway 2-14 to 0-19 in a closely contested final at Croke Park. Despite trailing by two points at halftime, Cork staged a dominant second-half comeback, fueled by crucial goals from Saoirse McCarthy and Orlaith Cahalane.

Galway, the defending champions, attempted a late rally with five consecutive points from players including Aoife Donohue, but ultimately fell short. The victory marks Cork's third All-Ireland title in four seasons and provides redemption after losing the 2025 final to Galway.

Following the match, the Cork team visited CHI Temple Street hospital to share the O'Duffy Cup with young patients. Player of the match Aoife Donohue noted the special nature of the visit, which allowed children to interact with the championship trophy.
