Gamba Osaka forward Takashi Usami has scored in three consecutive official matches, including a notable free-kick goal during the AFC Champions League Elite (ACLE) league phase match against Buriram United.

In the match held on October 28, which ended in a 1-1 draw, Usami scored in the 66th minute from a difficult angle on the left side of the pitch. This follows a direct free-kick goal he scored four days prior against Kyoto Sanga F.C. in the J1 League.
