Game Freak releases Beast of Reincarnation update 1.012

Game Freak has released update 1.012 for Beast of Reincarnation, upgrading the game to version 1.1.01. This update introduces a new gameplay choice following the clearing of the terraced rice fields near Kyokaku. Players can now select the ‘Rush to the Capital’ option to bypass the Pilgrimage Zone, Matsukawa Colony Zone, and Fuji Frontline Zone to focus on the story, or choose ‘Tour the Mountain Route’ to earn achievements in those areas.

Technical improvements include a Field of View (FOV) adjustment option for PC players and the ability to toggle the ‘Event & Movie Skip Display’. The patch also addresses various bugs related to dialogue subtitles, event skipping, character positioning, and Resonance Acceleration mechanics.

This update marks the beginning of the end for the game’s frequent patch cycle. Game Freak has announced that the final planned patch is scheduled for October 20, which is expected to be the last major update providing new features or significant bug fixes.
