Beast of Reincarnation receives first major patch to address gameplay and technical issues

Game Freak and Fictions have released the first major post-launch update, version 1.0.7, for the action RPG Beast of Reincarnation. The patch aims to address player feedback following a mixed reception upon its release.

Key technical improvements include adjustments to the player camera during combat and exploration, increased text size for better readability, and a change to the default cutscene setting from Cinematic to Performance mode to improve framerates. The update also allows players to remap the “interact” button and fixes several bugs related to V-Sync, upscaling, and specific quest interactions.

Gameplay and narrative changes include adjustments to the parry window when the protagonist Emma takes damage, as well as balance tuning for bosses across all difficulties and enemies on Normal mode. To improve story pacing, affinity-building conversations are now limited to once per in-game day. Developers have indicated that further updates are planned, including the implementation of DLSS 4/4.5 and FSR 4 support.
