Game Science reveals 15-minute gameplay for Black Myth: Zhong Kui

Game Science, the developer behind the successful Black Myth: Wukong, has released a 15-minute gameplay trailer for its upcoming action RPG, Black Myth: Zhong Kui. The footage, captured from a work-in-progress build using Unreal Engine 5, provides a detailed look at the game's combat, exploration, and visual fidelity.

Set in a world inspired by Chinese mythology, the game follows the deity Zhong Kui, a demon hunter. Unlike the previous title, the combat mechanics appear to shift toward swordplay (jian) and include elements such as parrying, dodging, and elemental abilities like fire and electricity. The trailer showcases various environments, including forests and underwater settings, and features boss encounters with large-scale creatures.

While the gameplay demonstrates high-quality animations and cinematic combat, Game Science noted that the project is still in the early stages of development. A specific release date has not yet been announced, though the game is expected to launch on PC and major gaming consoles.
