GameNative updates Android app with CPU and GPU performance optimization

GameNative has released version 1.2.0 of its application, which enables users to play PC games natively on Android devices by logging into accounts such as Steam, Epic Games, or GOG. The update introduces advanced performance optimization tools designed to maintain consistent frame rates.

The new version utilizes PID controllers to dynamically adjust CPU and GPU performance based on a user-selected target FPS. If the device exceeds the target, the system reduces power to save energy; if performance drops below the target, it increases power to meet the goal. The update includes real-time monitoring for FPS and hardware utilization, as well as an adaptive FPS limiter that activates when the GPU reaches 85% utilization.

Users can choose from several power modes, including Energy Saving, Balanced, Performance, and WALT. The update is compatible with Samsung smartphones, as well as AYN and Retroid Pocket devices.
