gamescom 2026 tickets see high demand ahead of Cologne event

The gamescom 2026 trade fair, scheduled to take place in Cologne from August 26 to August 30, is seeing high demand for attendance. Tickets for Saturday are nearly sold out, with only evening tickets remaining, which restrict entry to the hours between 16:00 and 20:00. Wildcard tickets for the trade visitor and media day on Wednesday have also sold out.

The event program includes the Opening Night Live show on August 25, which accommodates 5,000 spectators in Hall 1. Throughout the week, the venue will host various activities such as the Gamescom Congress, speedrun charity formats like GDQ, and various creator-led events on the Social Stage. While many stage programs are free for ticket holders, specific events like the Opening Night Live and certain congresses require separate ticketing.
