Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show attracts 220,000 attendees in Bangkok

The Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show concluded in Bangkok with an estimated 219,546 attendees from 113 countries, marking what organizers described as the most international edition in the event's history. The four-day exhibition featured 335 exhibitors and nearly 7,000 business visitors.

Key highlights included a keynote by Doom co-creator John Romero and panels from industry figures such as Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno. The showfloor showcased 470 titles from major brands including Capcom, Bandai Namco Entertainment, SEGA, and Ubisoft. Capcom’s Pragmata was named Game of the Year at the Thailand Game Awards.

Mathias Kuepper, managing director and regional president for APAC at Koelnmesse, stated that the presence of exhibitors from 29 countries and regions signifies that Southeast Asia has become a critical market for global industry deals.
