Gamescom reveals new titles including EXODUS and Elta: Defy All Gods

During the Gamescom Opening Night Live event, several new video game titles were showcased. Archetype Entertainment announced that its science-fiction action RPG, EXODUS, is scheduled for a global release on April 7, 2027. A new gameplay trailer introduced the character Salt, a mercenary and bounty hunter who accompanies the protagonist, Jun. The footage also highlighted combat mechanics and the introduction of Emrys, a support character from the Deva species.

Additionally, Afterburner Studios presented Elta: Defy All Gods, an action-platformer published by Focus Entertainment. Described as a Metroidvania, the game follows Victus, a warrior monk, in a sci-fi world where gods have abandoned their followers. The gameplay features a combination of martial arts, such as boxing and free-fight, alongside elemental abilities used to navigate labyrinthine environments and unlock new paths.
