Gamescom showcases new indie titles Join Us and Hollywood Hustle

At Gamescom, several new indie titles were showcased, including Join Us and Hollywood Hustle.

Join Us, developed by Montreal-based Wolf Haus Games, is an open-world post-apocalyptic game where players manage their own sect. The gameplay involves creating a cult, choosing symbols and attire, recruiting members, and managing resources and base construction. The title is expected to be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Hollywood Hustle, published by Maximum Entertainment and developed by the new studio Woodpile, is a cozy collection simulator set in Hollywood. Players explore abandoned film sets to find and collect iconic movie props, such as the volleyball from Cast Away. The game is slated for a 2027 release on PC via Steam.
