Gamescom showcases Saw: Genesis and The Last Caretaker

At Gamescom, new details were revealed for several upcoming video game titles.

Broken Mirror Games and publisher Bloober Team showcased Saw: Genesis, a new entry in the Saw franchise. Set in the 1920s, the game takes place a century before the film events. It features an online multiplayer mode where three Accused players must cooperate to navigate a maze of traps set by a Judge. The gameplay emphasizes teamwork and strategic decision-making to survive and progress.

Additionally, developer Channel37 shared updates regarding The Last Caretaker, a survival crafting game set in a post-ecological disaster world where humanity's consciousness is uploaded to a space colony. The title is scheduled for an early access release on November 6, 2025, for PC and Xbox Series X|S, with a full release expected in spring 2027.
