Gamescom to feature new gameplay reveals for Minecraft Dungeons II and Fable

Several major video game titles are set to feature new gameplay reveals at Gamescom.

Mojang Studios and Double Eleven have released new gameplay footage for Minecraft Dungeons II, focusing on the Sift dimension. The game, which features a revamped customization system with various weapons like combat staves, war hammers, and heavy greatswords, is scheduled for release on September 29. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from day one.

Additionally, Playground Games will host an Xbox broadcast during Gamescom to showcase new gameplay footage for the Fable reboot. The presentation, led by Game Director Ralph Fulton, aims to provide insight into the combat mechanics, exploration, and progression systems of the open-world RPG set in Albion. Fable is slated for release on February 23, 2027, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
