GameSir launches Fortnite Edition mobile controllers

GameSir has introduced two new mobile gaming controllers inspired by Fortnite: the X5 Lite for Xbox Fortnite Edition and the G8 Plus Fortnite Edition. These devices are designed to transform mobile devices into portable gaming consoles using physical buttons and analog sticks.

The X5 Lite for Xbox Fortnite Edition features official Xbox licensing and Apple MFi certification. It connects directly via USB-C to compatible iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, eliminating the need for Bluetooth pairing or separate battery charging. It includes Hall Effect analog sticks and triggers, a movable USB-C connector, and supports pass-through charging for the connected device. The controller weighs approximately 145 grams and accommodates devices up to 213 mm in length.

The G8 Plus Fortnite Edition offers broader compatibility, supporting Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC. It utilizes Bluetooth for mobile devices and offers wired or wireless options via a dongle for PC. This model features Hall Effect magnetic detection sticks and triggers to reduce wear, two rear buttons, a six-axis gyroscope, and dual asymmetric vibration motors. It includes a 1,000mAh battery, a magnetic faceplate, and is compatible with devices between 110 mm and 215 mm in length.
