Gaming and Leisure Properties raises quarterly dividend by 5%

Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. (GLPI) has increased its third-quarter dividend by approximately 5% compared to the previous year, raising the payout to 82 cents per share. The dividend is scheduled to be paid on September 25 to shareholders of record as of September 11. Based on the company’s closing price of $42.07 on August 31, this quarterly payout represents an annualized dividend yield of approximately 7.8%.

Institutional interest in the gaming-focused real estate investment trust remains high, with various firms adjusting their positions. Nykredit A/S acquired a new stake of 25,258 shares in the second quarter, valued at approximately $1.12 million.
