Lollipop Chainsaw sequel to debut playable demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026
Dragami Games and Nada Holdings have announced major new projects for the Lollipop Chainsaw franchise, including a brand-new game and an anime adaptation. The new game, which features the return of protagonist Juliet Starling, will make its public debut with a playable demo at the Tokyo Game Show 2026, held from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe.
SEGA and ATLUS will serve as distributors for the title in Japan and Southeast Asia. The demonstration will be hosted at the SEGA/ATLUS booth, where visitors can participate in special events and stage presentations scheduled for September 18 and 19. While a definitive title and platform list have not yet been confirmed, the project aims to build upon the dark humor and spirit of the original 2012 release.
Separately, Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed its lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2026. The PlayStation booth will feature playable demos for four major upcoming titles: Marvel's Wolverine, Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascension, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, and Ace Combat 8: Wings of the Eve.
