Gaming Factory releases multiplayer update for JDM: Japanese Drift Master

Gaming Factory has launched a major update for the racing game JDM: Japanese Drift Master. The update adds online multiplayer for PC, offering up to eight players in 15 new challenges that include traditional grip races, drift‑score races and 1v1 touge battles across locations such as Haikama Lake, Highway Grip and Tofuna Uphill/Downhill. Players can initiate events from the open‑world map or the multiplayer menu, with collisions disabled in public lobbies and optional in private sessions.

The update also introduces a free side‑story campaign centered on the character Ayumi. The eight manga‑style events unlock an exclusive Ayumi car upon completion. Additional bug fixes improve wheel support for PlayStation 5 users and other gameplay tweaks. While the multiplayer mode is currently PC‑only, console versions will receive the story content now and multiplayer support is expected shortly. A physical edition of the game for PS5 and Nintendo Switch is scheduled for release on 14 August.
