Gaming industry sees new RTS ZeroSpace and FPS WARDOGS
The gaming industry is seeing new entries in the RTS and FPS genres. ZeroSpace, developed by Starlance Studios and Ironward, entered early access on July 20. The real-time strategy game focuses more on military composition and combat than complex economic management, aiming to appeal to players who prefer tactical engagements over resource micro-management. However, early feedback notes issues with unit pathfinding and movement.
In the first-person shooter segment, BULKHEAD is preparing for the September 10 release of WARDOGS. The large-scale networked shooter features three teams of 100 players competing on massive maps. To promote the game, the developers have launched a campaign offering a $100,000 prize to the creator of the best gameplay clip shared on social media using the hashtag #WARDOGS100k. The remaining 99 winners will receive $100,000 in in-game virtual currency.
