Gaming industry updates: Danganronpa 2x2 specs and Zelda remake analysis

Producer Shohei Sakakibara has addressed concerns regarding the high PC recommended specifications for the upcoming high-speed推理 action game ‘Super Danganronpa 2x2’. Following discussions about the requirement of 32GB of RAM and an RTX 4070, Sakakibara clarified that these specs are intended for 4K high-definition gameplay and plans to provide updates. He also reassured players regarding the Nintendo Switch version, stating the game is specifically optimized and runs smoothly on the original Switch hardware.

Separately, Digital Foundry released an analysis of the ‘The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake’. The report suggests the game could achieve native 1080p resolution in both handheld and TV modes on the Switch 2, potentially running at 60FPS. However, the analysis noted a lack of DLSS support as a significant drawback, pointing to issues such as over-sharpening and shimmering vegetation that upscaling technology might have mitigated. The report also speculates that the game likely uses a proprietary Nintendo engine or a solution from a partner like Monolith Soft, rather than Unreal Engine 5.
