Gaming industry updates: PS Plus additions and Final Fantasy VII discounts

The gaming industry is seeing various promotional activities and service updates this August. The cooperative comedy title Big Walk, developed by House House, is available for free to PlayStation Plus Extra and Deluxe subscribers throughout the month.

Additionally, significant discounts are being applied to the Final Fantasy VII franchise. Final Fantasy VII Remake is currently 65% off on the PlayStation Store, while the sequel, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, is available on Steam with a 60% discount. Other titles such as Mortal Shell 2 are also seeing activity, with a beta version currently available for testing on PS5 ahead of its upcoming release.
