Gaming platforms announce new sales and subscription updates

Various digital storefronts and subscription services are offering significant discounts and new content for video games.

On Steam, special sales include Jump King at a record low price and Hello Kitty Island Adventure at its lowest historical price. Other notable discounts feature titles such as BioShock 2 Remastered, Max Payne, and Risk of Rain.

The Nintendo eShop is hosting a sale focused on Daedalic Entertainment titles, including the Deponia series, alongside indie games like Brotato and Another’s Crab Treasure.

Subscription services have also updated their libraries. Microsoft's Game Pass is adding several titles for the latter half of August, including Vapor World: Over the Mind and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. PlayStation Plus has updated its Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers with titles such as Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and Dying Light 2. Amazon Luna has also refreshed its offerings with various titles available via GOG.com and the Epic Games Store.
