The Witcher 3 expansion Songs of the Past announced

CD Projekt Red and Fool’s Theory have announced ‘Songs of the Past’, a new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The DLC will introduce a new region called Letten, which serves as the home of the character Dandelion.

Developers noted that the creation of the Letten region was made possible through technical improvements implemented during the development of the game's remaster. The expansion aims to deepen the narrative connection between Geralt and Dandelion.

A significant addition to the gameplay is the introduction of a combat chain, a weapon originally planned for the base game but omitted due to technical limitations a decade ago. The chain is intended to provide new tactical options, such as crowd control against swarming enemies, and aligns with the lore established in Andrzej Sapkowski’s original novels.
