Gancéu to celebrate traditional Fiesta del Ángel

The town of Gancéu, located in Miravalles, Villaviciosa, will celebrate its traditional Fiesta del Ángel on August 30. The event features a diverse program including music, gastronomy, and community activities.

Scheduled festivities include a bagpipe and drum parade, a solemn mass, and a vermouth session with cheese tasting. A community barbecue is planned for the afternoon, alongside traditional games, a scavenger hunt, and a World Egg Throwing Championship. A new addition to this year's program is the first Homemade Sponge Cake Contest, aimed at encouraging local participation and culinary tradition.
