Gandia PP proposes emergency aid following Adam storm

The Partido Popular (PP) in Gandia has proposed an urgent economic aid package for families, self-employed workers, and businesses affected by the Adam storm. The party is calling on the local government to request that the city be declared a “zona catastrófica” (catastrophic zone) due to the civil protection emergency.

Spokesperson Víctor Soler has requested that the administration provide specific budgets and timelines to assist those with damages to homes or businesses. The proposal includes creating an extraordinary fund for material damages, establishing a municipal service point to assist victims with insurance claims and documentation, and conducting a municipal inventory of damages to private property and public infrastructure.
